Disabled in mind,but not in body

Disabled in body,but not in mind.

My final year collection is based on my experiences with Multiple Sclerosis. I have taken inspiration from symptoms and relapses i have encountered over the years and even issues i have to deal with weekly. To create a positive spin on M.S for fellow M.Sers and also to give the general public an understanding, my work is designed for the catwalk to create an impact and beauty.

The running theme is Natural VS Toxic as Multiple Sclerosis is an organic condition that I have developed which is now being suppressed by a highly toxic medication. I specifically used acrylic sheet throughout my work as it denotes the toxicity of the medication in contrast corrugated cardboard was used as its natural opponent.  As an added element electro luminescent sheet is used to interpret the central nervous system.
